Southern Exposure Grant
Deadline: March 25, 2019
States: Artist must be from one of the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezula.
Amount: $5,000 – $25,000. Must be matched on a 1:1 basis. Amount requested can include all costs associated with managing the program. See full guidelines for more information.
Southern Arts Performing Arts Touring Grant
Deadline: March 4, 2019 for regional touring grant
States: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee
Amount: Maximum request – 50%
Deadline: April 25, 2019
States: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin
Amount: Awards will generally be up to 20% of the Artist’s contracted fee. Maximum award is generally $4,000.
Tour West Grant Program
Deadline: April 1, 2019
States: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming
Amount: Up to $2,500 or 50% of the Artist’s fee – whichever is less; must be matched on a 1:1 basis.
Note: Presenter may apply for up to two Tour West grants for two different projects!
Deadline: This program has a rolling deadline, and applications are due three weeks prior to the start date of the project.
States: Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas
Amount: Presenters that book an artist listed on a state touring roster may be awarded up to 50 percent of the artist’s fee. Presenters that book an artist that lives in the region, but is not listed on a touring roster, may be awarded up to 25 percent of the artist’s fee. Presenters located in rural communities may receive an additional 10 percent of the artist’s fee.

Amount: These applications are funded based on a sliding scale ranging from 30% to 50% of contracted fees. Support is based on TCA’s available funds.
