Live from Savannah, Georgia, the home of the legendary lyricist Johnny Mercer, Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Jazz Orchestra presents the Mostly Mercer Show!
The Friends of Johnny Mercer have commissioned the Equinox team to arrange the quintessential big band collection of Mercer’s music just in time to mark the centennial celebration. Savannah’s favorite son was one of America’s most prolific song writers.
Johnny contributed such timeless classics to the Great American Songbook as That Old Black Magic, Summer Wind, Fools Rush In, Day’s of Wine and Roses, Autumn Leaves, Blues in the Night, Moon River, Skylark and over 1,600 more!
The Equinox Jazz Orchestra pays tribute to the Great American Songbook with original musical arrangements written by our own staff arrangers. Very much Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr., Sinatra, Dean Martin and so on.
