Daniela Nardi's Espresso Manifesto
Award winning singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Daniela Nardi is set to release her new project Espresso Manifesto and its release "Via Via - the Songs of Paolo Conte". Here Nardi takes her signature style and interprets the songs of the legendary Italian singer/songwriter Paolo Conte, whose work has never been recorded by any other female artist.
Nardi's versatility and creative curiosity on Via Via is nothing new for Nardi, who has literally been making music for her entire life. She began studying piano at Canada's Royal Conservatory of Music at the age of five. But any thoughts of a career in classical music were soon diverted by her love for '80s rock, which influenced Nardi to take up the bass guitar and embrace songwriting. She subsequently earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music at Toronto's York University, and honed her skills performing everything from pop to punk to Latin to country.
